I know it's 20 years for cars and 30 years for an antique. It may be 20 for motorcycles. Best bet is to ask your county treasurer's office.

should get classic insurance if over 25 years old. £200 not bad if everything good and just needs a carb clean and service etc if dog rough ie needs fork seals, chain set etc then £50 more like it and hey its been offered at £200 so why not be cheeky and try for £100 ;-) oops yes twisted is right she's a shafty my mistake

  6. It's a shaft drive, air cooled Kawasaki – they are pretty solid bikes, even when not looked after.

You'll need to give it a good safety check (tyres, wheel rims, wheel bearings, brakes discs, pads and lines, shaft U.J., headstock and swing-arm bearings, etc), but if it runs, that's one headache you don't have to worry about!

If you're good with a set of tools, then £200 is a bargain.
