A quad is not under car or bike. You can not drive one legally on a car licence. Now anyone using a quad has to go through a course. That includes farms, because of safety and the high percentage of accidents. I never knew this till later, apparently you should not even sit on a quad till you go through a course no matter what.
If you search the internet you can find insurance company's that cover quads.
I know cos i got stopped by traffic cop on a farm quad, nothing happened but he gave me this advice.
Passed the course, bit like CBT
