motorcycle insurance prices?

Insurance price please? I know it ranges from age, experience, accidents, and etc.
I'm a 16 year old female that will be getting her regular permit in June and after 6 months, I will be getting my motorcycle license. Won't be driving a car anytime soon, obviously.
Oh and I'm in the bay area of California if that changes anything?

Oh and if your wondering why I wont just buy a car, because I only wanna save 5 grand max and that will only get me a wack car.

Brother is the first born? They get all the good stuff, you get hand-me-downs. Keeps happening even when you are in your 60's!

What you get will depend on what your brother has -- you want to be able to smoke him. A 250R will do that to most cages; but if he has a high performance car you may need a 500R.

I would start watching the local Craigslist, Cycletrader, and eBay for the available bikes so as to build up an understanding of what is available for how much. You'll likely want a tail box so you can carry stuff.
