How much does the vest weigh?
You should not wear the vest while doing long runs, it is okay for drills and jumping rope, but it is not a good idea for long distance.
I don't think it is going to do much for you while riding a bike, since you are seated and not supporting your body by standing.
Normally people use a vest to do plyometrics and drills but not long distance running.
You should take protein after training to help build and repair cells.

It's okay really because of the low amount of radiation, (think of all of the radiation we get from the sun, fake tanning beds). Also it was just one time. It's usually prolonged exposure and over use of radiation that causes the problems.
