I just got done making my amazingly low monthly payment for motorcycle insurance at the Debbie Leonard State Farm office. I could pretty well be the happiest motorcyclist out there. I now have the peace of mind that I didn't have before. In the worst case scenario, where my 2000 Yamaha YZF-R1 gets stolen, I am covered by State Farm and they will pay me the whole value amount of the sportbike. That is without any deductibles. That is unheard of to me, because I've shopped around to a lot of other insurance companies, and they all had deductibles. I have had two sportbikes stolen from me before, and I was dumb for only having liability insurance. The two sportbikes stolen from me was a 2003 Yamaha R1 and the other was a 1999 or 2000 Honda CBR F4. They were fairly new because when I bought them, it was only 1 year old. I know, I was naive and stupid for not getting comprehensive insurance. Lessons learned the very hard way.
